About our Limited Edition Prints

About Our Limited Edition Giclée Prints

We offer limited edition prints of the art of Len Gibbs printed on canvas or archival paper. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, describing the edition type (canvas or paper), the print number and signed by an estate representative and also has instructions on how to care for your print. All for the serious art collector.

Our Giclées are high resolution inkjet printed reproductions of original paintings or photographs and printed on canvas or paper.  We use 415 grams per square meter (gpsm) textured cotton/polyester blend canvas and 300 gpsm fine art paper made from acid free cotton rag. Our paper Giclées are printed on 300 gpsm archival fine art paper.

The quality and colour range of the inks and the particular process used in the inkjet printing of giclées ensures that the colours and characteristics of the giclée prints are as close to the original artwork as possible. Our canvas giclée prints include a topcoat which protects the prints from UV and moisture exposure.

The canvases are stretched over and stapled to the sides of 3/4" deep wooden stretcher bars made from British Columbia fir, which is structured to keep the canvas tight and prevent slacking due to climate change and moisture. These are true stretcher bars which, should the canvas sagging due to moisture or humidity, can be adjusted with wooden biscuits (not included) inserted into the corners of the stretchers. Black archival tape is wrapped around the perimeter of the frame to hide the staples and provide an appealing finish to the final product. The giclée print is then ready to display as is and is also ideal for framing.

Due to the possibility of damage during shipping, our giclée prints do not include hanging wires or hardware.

Care of Giclée Prints

Our canvas prints are top-coated for protection from UV and moisture exposure, for the longevity and care of your giclée print. However, we recommend that you avoid displaying the print in direct sunlight or humid areas.

If necessary, wipe your giclée print with a lint free soft cloth. Do not use water, cleaning liquids or any other chemicals on your giclée print.
